If you’re a small to medium sized business that has spent with Google Ads in ten out of the twelve months of 2019 and in January and/or February of this year, you may be eligible for free Google Ads credits.

The credits come as part of Google’s response to COVID-19 in support of small to medium sized businesses around the world. Google is giving SME customers worldwide US$340 million in ad credits, which can be used towards future ad spend until the end of 2020 across Google Ads platforms

As at publication of this post, 7 of my Google Ads clients have received a collective total of over $3000 in Google Ad credits. The individual amounts have ranged from $120 – $1,020. There are at least 12 others that should be receiving credits according to Google’s eligibility guidelines.

If you are eligible and have received notification from Google about the ad credit, you don’t need to do anything. The credit will be automatically added to your account to go towards future ad spend.
