Search Engine Marketing (SEM) which is a type of PPC, allows advertisers to serve ads to targeted audiences when they are searching a related topic or product in a search engine such as Google or Bing.  As the ads are served to people when and where they are looking for a specific product or service, the conversion rates are usually much higher than any other online marketing platform. Google AdWords is all of the above and is by far the most popular platform for PPC advertising with about 94.8% of the market share in Australia (as at August 2019. Bing Ads has only 3.51%, however there are also fewer competitors in this space so there is a huge opportunity for advertisers to capitalise on this.

There are a lot of ‘Google Ads Experts’ out there but finding one that can deliver on your business goals can be difficult. Start your search with a Google Partner. As a trusted Google Partner I have already demonstrated to Google a high level of performance, am fully certified and maintain a minimum level of spent. Google Partners are not only experts in the field but we also must have a solid understanding of best practice and maintain a certain level of success for our clients.

Agencies just need one Google Partner to hold a badge. When working with me, you can be rest assured that the person looking after your Google Ads or Bing Ads account is the Google Partner.

My Approach

I am methodical and thorough. If you are new to Google Ads, I will set up a new account for you. Ask me how I can get you up to $150 Google Ads credit.

If you already have an account, I recommend having an audit done of your current campaigns if you are wanting to continue running the existing campaigns. Most accounts I come across also require a new set up. This includes restructuring the campaigns and ad groups, setting up Google Analytics properly, setting up conversion tracking properly, extensive keyword research and drafting new ad copy. I’ll check the account settings and review the effectiveness of the current bidding strategy.

My management accounts work on calendar months so I will ensure the appropriate amount of hours are spent on your account each month. You will also be billed on a monthly cycle.

All management plans include a monthly performance report and review, optimisation of ads, bids and keywords and creation of new ad groups and ads when required.

The success of your Google Ads campaigns is also largely dependant of the effectiveness of your website. I can work with you by provide recommendations to improve the conversion optimisation of your website to ensure the content is answering the searcher’s query clearly and enticingly.

The following packages are suitable for both Google Ads and Bing Ads campaigns. I have structured the packages based on the number of campaigns clients have as opposed to the size of your budget as that generally determines how much work is involved each month. The prices quoted are monthly fees. There is no upfront payment required and no lock-in contracts. Clients are invoiced at the beginning of the following month once the work has been completed.

The SEM Set Up is for up to 5 ad groups. It includes keyword research, ad group mapping (up to 5 ad groups), proper set up of Google Analytics, conversion tracking, up to 3 new ads per ad group and ad extensions.  All new clients need the SEM Set Up before the ads can start running.

$425 + GST

The SEM Starter plan is a basic monthly management package for accounts that have ad spend of less than $500 per month and fewer than 5 ad groups within 1 Search campaign. It includes a monthly PDF report with an overview of results, however no consultation.

$270 + GST per month

The SEM Professional plan is a mid-level management plan most suitable for accounts with between 5 and 15 Ad Groups within 1-3 Search campaigns.

You will be sent a monthly performance report with an overview of results, and be offered a 30 minute consultation each month.

$450 + GST per month

The SEM Premium plan is most suitable for accounts with over 15 ad groups and two different types of campaigns such as Search and Display (including Remarketing). The SEM Premium plan may also be recommended to you if you’re in a more competitive search environment and I feel your account may need more time spent on it.

This monthly management plan includes receive a performance report with overview of results and be offered a It includes a monthly PDF report with an overview of results, however no consultation.

$720 + GST per month

The SEM Audit is a review of either your Google Ads or Bing Ads account and its current campaigns. You will receive a comprehensive report with actionable recommendations to improve the health of your account. The SEM Audit can be a one-off service.
